El Centro Cultural del Gimnasio Moderno y Vive Mickey se enorgullecen en presentar «Temporada de Éxitos», una selección de obras teatrales que han triunfado en los escenarios más importantes del mundo. La temporada inicia con la aclamada comedia «Una Idea Genial«, protagonizada por Santiago Alarcón, Marcela Benjumea, Ana María Cuellar y Rafael Zea, bajo la dirección magistral de Johan Velandia.
La trama gira en torno a la crisis de los siete años que enfrenta Armando. Un giro del destino lo lleva a encontrarse con el doble del hombre que cree que está robándole el corazón a su novia María. Este encuentro desencadena una serie de situaciones cómicas, hilarantes y a menudo absurdas que cautivarán al público desde el primer momento.
«Una Idea Genial» ha brillado en los escenarios franceses y ha sido galardonada con dos Premios Molière. Ahora llega a Bogotá para llenar de risas y sorpresas las funciones de febrero en el Centro Cultural del Gimnasio Moderno. Las presentaciones serán los viernes a las 8:00 p.m. y los sábados a las 6:00 p.m. y 8:30 p.m.
El director Johan Velandia destaca que la obra aborda la comunicación en las relaciones de pareja, explorando cómo las suposiciones y malentendidos pueden afectarlas. La crisis de los siete años se convierte en un terreno cómico donde Armando invita a un actor idéntico al supuesto amante de su novia, desatando una serie de situaciones disparatadas.
La obra se sumerge en el caos, con Santiago Alarcón asumiendo varios roles sorprendentemente parecidos entre sí, aumentando la confusión. En medio de risas y confusiones, «Una Idea Genial» destaca la importancia de la comunicación honesta en una relación. ¿Armando y María superarán esta crisis?
